About the Role:

The IT Administrator will be responsible for managing the organization’s IT infrastructure, end-user support, and technology operations, along with owning IT-related procurement activities. This role ensures reliable IT systems, cost-effective vendor management, and seamless onboarding/offboarding support for employees.


Key Responsibilities

IT Administration & Operations

  • Manage day-to-day IT operations including laptops, desktops, networks, printers, and peripherals.
  • Provide L1/L2 technical support for hardware, software, VPN, email, and collaboration tools.
  • Administer user access, permissions, and identity management across systems (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Jira).
  • Ensure timely onboarding and offboarding of employees, including device provisioning and access revocation.
  • Maintain asset inventory, tagging, and lifecycle management of IT equipment.
  • Monitor system performance, security patches, and backups; coordinate with vendors for escalations. Support basic network setup, Wi-Fi, routers, firewalls, and endpoint security.


IT Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Own end-to-end IT procurement for hardware, software licenses, and IT services.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and forecast IT needs.
  • Evaluate vendors, negotiate pricing, terms, and SLAs to optimize cost and quality.
  • Raise purchase requests, manage POs, invoices, renewals, and AMC contracts.
  • Track software licenses and ensure compliance with usage and renewal timelines.


Security, Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure adherence to IT security policies and data protection standards.
  • Assist in audits, compliance checks, and policy documentation.
  • Maintain SOPs, IT policies, and system documentation.
  • Report and escalate security incidents or risks in a timely manner.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with HR, Finance, and Admin teams on onboarding, budgeting, and asset allocation.
  • Support office IT setup, moves, and expansions as required.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of experience in IT Administration / IT Operations with hands-on procurement exposure.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and office IT infrastructure.
  • Experience with IT procurement, vendor negotiation, and license management.
  • Familiarity with SaaS tools, endpoint management, and ticketing systems.
  • Working knowledge of IT security best practices.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
