Basic Function and Scope of Responsibility
The IT Application / Production Support Analyst is responsible for supporting business-critical applications and ensuring service stability through effective incident management, technical troubleshooting, and operational support.
This role focuses on Incident & Problem Management, SQL-based analysis, and advanced troubleshooting, rather than end-user helpdesk activities.
Essential Job Duties
Manage and resolve application incidents (P1/P2/P3) following ITIL Incident and Problem Management practices
Perform technical troubleshooting across applications, databases, and integrations to identify root causes and restore service quickly
Execute SQL queries to analyze data, validate transactions, and support incident resolution
Monitor production environments and proactively detect issues impacting system performance or availability
