Job Description: M365 Operations Support Specialist

Location: Lexmark Kolkata

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled M365 Operations Support Specialist to join our team at Lexmark. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Level 2 (L2) support for Microsoft 365 (M365) tools, with a specific focus on Exchange Online, Teams, and OneDrive. This role will involve assisting with the day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of these platforms to ensure seamless and efficient functionality for our users.

Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Responsibilities

Respond to and resolve support tickets related to M365 tools within established SLAs.

Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure integration and interoperability of M365 services.

Document processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to improve support efficiency.

Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in M365 technology.

Exchange Online Support

Monitor and maintain the health of the Exchange Online environment, ensuring optimal performance and availability.

Manage email flow, mailbox permissions, and security settings.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email delivery, access, and synchronization.

Assist with migration projects involving Exchange Online, including onboarding of new users and decommissioning of old mail systems.

Teams Support

Provide technical support for Microsoft Teams, including chat, meetings, and collaboration features.

Manage Teams policies, settings, and permissions to ensure a secure and controlled environment.

Resolve issues related to user access, connectivity, and integration with other M365 services.

Assist with the deployment and configuration of Teams, including training and support for end users.

OneDrive Support

Monitor and maintain the OneDrive environment, ensuring data integrity and availability.

Help users with file synchronization issues and data recovery.

Manage storage quotas, sharing permissions, and security settings.

Provide training and support for users to maximize the use of OneDrive for Business.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

4+ years of experience in supporting M365 tools, particularly Exchange Online, Teams, and OneDrive.

Strong understanding of M365 administration, troubleshooting, and best practices.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively support and train end users.

Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate are a plus.
