About the Role

Our Client is seeking an experienced IT Architect to design and maintain enterprise technology architecture that aligns with organisational objectives and industry best practices. This role will focus on developing and enforcing IT policies, standards, and frameworks to ensure compliance, security, and strategic alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain IT policies, standards, and governance frameworks for effective architecture and risk management.
• Review and update policies to align with legislation, IT controls, and emerging trends.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify gaps and prioritise improvements in IT policy and architecture.
• Provide expert advice on technology solutions to ensure projects align with architecture standards.
• Guide and mentor teams, ensuring quality assurance and compliance across the IT landscape.
• Design and document enterprise architecture frameworks, principles, and standards.
• Conduct impact assessments for new technologies and advise on adoption strategies.

About You
We're looking for a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise and communication skills to influence architectural decisions across the enterprise.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven ability to develop and enforce IT policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of IT General Controls, compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST), and risk management.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to align architecture with organisational strategy and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
• 8-10 years' experience in IT architecture or related roles, with significant policy development experience.

Highly Regarded:

• Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect, ITIL.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices like disaster recovery, incident management, and change management.
