Talascend is currently seeking an IT Asset Technician for a W-2 contract to possible direct-hire opportunity located in Elkridge, Maryland.

RESPONSIBILTIES:
  • Responsible for receiving computers at client site.
  • Prepare equipment for reuse or, in some cases, disposal.
  • Prepare computers to be shipped, imaging, software updates and configuration updates and boxing them up for shipping.
  • Perform light lifting, including unboxing and boxing equipment.
  • Maintain organization and manage simple spreadsheets.
  • Follow checklists and instructions with attention to detail.
  • Physically sanitize the machine (clean) run diagnostics, separate warranty systems and non.
  • Adhere to a consistent weekly schedule.
