Overview

Job title: IT Development Engineer (Software). Reports to: IT Senior Engineer. Salary: £38,627.

Position Summary: As an IT Development Engineer at Epson Telford Limited, you will be involved in all aspects of Software Development and Factory Systems. Your role includes designing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions to support operational efficiency and system integration.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Design, build and implement new software developments and factory systems using modern programming tools. This is the full development lifecycle – initial analysis, development, hardware specification, build and testing. This also includes user and support team training.
• Learn the software systems which currently support the Epson Telford factory processes.
• Actively migrate the support functions (for SD and FS) to the First Line Support Engineers and Technicians in the IT team and the Engineering teams. ...
