Job Title: IT Device/ Network Monitoring Engineer

Experience: 2–3 Years

Qualification: BE/BSC (Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field)

Location: Mumbai

Job Summary:

We are looking for an IT Device Monitoring Engineer with 2–3 years of experience to

proactively monitor and maintain IT devices and infrastructure, ensuring high availability

and performance. The role involves responding to alerts, performing initial

troubleshooting, escalating issues when necessary, and supporting continuous

improvement of monitoring systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Proactively monitor IT infrastructure, devices, and systems using tools like HP

NNMi, SolarWinds etc.

- Respond to alerts and incidents in a timely manner, performing initial

investigation and troubleshooting.

- Escalate critical or unresolved issues to relevant teams as needed.

- Maintain and update monitoring dashboards and documentation.

- Analyse alert trends to identify recurring issues and recommend preventive

actions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance monitoring coverage and

effectiveness.

- Ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures for monitoring and

incident management.

- Participate in on-call rotation as required.

- ITIL certification, or familiarity with ITIL processes and Any Monitor Tool

certification.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure/device monitoring.

- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and basic troubleshooting.

- Experience with at least one monitoring tool.

- Ability to analyze logs and metrics to identify potential issues.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Effective communication skills for escalation and reporting.

- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, 24x7 support environment if needed, and 6-

day working schedule
