IT Director Job Description

IT Director Manages the Information Technology directorate and staff, and has the following duties: Develop and manage IT plan, policy, strategy, and architecture, and direct information system development work. Identify automation opportunities and respond to new requirements from other directorates. Budget IT expenses, recruit personnel, manage tasks, select products and services. Coordinate with the Communication Directorate on web site strategy. Manage database development and operation, and web site operations. Coordinate with other directorates on data entry and consolidation. Maintain email aliases and mailing list membership.
