IT Engineer

WSYX/WTTE Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Broadcast/IT Engineer. This position involves maintaining broadcast equipment, computers and servers related to television transmission and video automation systems, as well as business-side workstations. The candidate will be directly responsible for hands-on support of modern broadcast and IT equipment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Maintain and repair cameras, video production switchers, audio equipment, video routers, automation/editing systems, video server systems, graphic systems, display systems, fiber networks, and satellite receivers.

Provide support in the management of servers, network security, and network services

PC hardware/software support of on-site installation, service, troubleshooting, and repairing of workstations

Provide support for the technical needs of the News Department

Provide first response support as needed to maintain live news broadcasts
