IT Engineer - Server/DBA (Fundamental Services)

Candidate must willing to work in Port Klang, Selangor.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, maintain, and optimize critical databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, OracleDB, MongoDB) to support high-concurrency and large-scale data processing.
• Experience in K8s (Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Implement and manage database backup, recovery, and high-availability strategies to ensure business continuity.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize SQL queries, index design, and storage engine configurations for performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot complex database issues, including latency, downtime, and scalability challenges under high traffic.
• Document architectures, processes, and best practices for knowledge sharing and team alignment.
