Job Description
The IT Executive – Hardware & Infrastructure will be responsible for managing local IT systems, providing first-level (L1) and limited second-level (L2) technical support, and ensuring smooth operations of IT infrastructure within the organization. This role demands a proactive professional with hands-on technical expertise and strong communication skills to liaise with both internal users and the global IT team in Germany.
Job Description in Brief:
- Handle day-to-day IT infrastructure activities including system administration, hardware configuration, and network support.
- Manage L1 IT support and assist users in resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Provide L2 support when required – interact directly with end users, understand issues, provide timely feedback and solutions.
- Maintain and update IT systems, devices, and applications in Remedy (or similar ticketing tools).
- Monitor and ensure timely patching, configuration, and troubleshooting of systems and devices.
- Coordinate with central/global IT teams (including Germany office) for escalations, system updates, and alignment with global standards.
- Ensure adherence to IT policies, data security protocols, and smooth functioning of local IT infrastructure.
- Support installation and configuration of PCs, printers, network devices, and other hardware peripherals.
Qualifications / Experience:
TechnicalPractical Training: Strong knowledge of hardware, networking, operating systems, and system configuration
Experience: Minimum 4–8 years of experience in handling IT infrastructure and L1/L2 support
