Job Description
Overview
IT Field Service Engineers are technical staff in ST Engineering's IT organisation who keep IT assets in good working order and ensure that they run smoothly every day. They are first responders who assist users who experience technical difficulties when operating any IT resource, be it hardware or software. Field Engineers work closely with other technical experts like systems, network, database and application managers, software developers and end-users to ensure that technical issues are promptly attended to and resolved.

Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades
Setting up accounts for staff, ensuring that they know how to log in
