IT Hardware and Networking Engineer

Tasks

Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other hardware components.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and networking issues (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, Routers, Switches, Firewalls).

Ensure system and network security by applying best practices and periodic updates.

Manage user accounts, email configurations, and backup processes.

Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement and support.

Monitor system performance and network availability proactively.

Maintain IT documentation and asset inventory.

Provide technical support to internal teams onsite or remotely.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5–6 years of hands-on experience in IT hardware and networking roles.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts : TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, etc.
• Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems , Active Directory, and system imaging tools.
• Experience handling IT support tickets and tools like ServiceDesk or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
