IT Helpdesk / IT Support Specialist Macos, Windows & Linux (Freelance / Hourly)

**Description**
We’re looking for a freelance **IT Helpdesk / IT Support Specialist** to support a small remote team. We use a mixed-OS environment (**macOS, Windows, Linux**) and several cloud tools (**Google Workspace, Box, Jira**). Your role will be to handle day-to-day support needs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure users can work smoothly.
This is an **as-needed hourly contract**, not a fixed-hours position.
**Key ResponsibilitiesUser Support (Level 1-2)**
- Troubleshoot issues on **macOS, Windows (7-11), and Linux**:
- Drivers, updates, profiles, permissions
- Office apps, browsers, printers
- Networking issues (Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS)
- Support and administer:
- **Google Workspace** (accounts, delivery issues, Drive permissions, MFA)
- **Box** (permissions, sync errors, collaboration)
- **Jira** (access issues, permissions)
- New user setup: configure laptops, apps, accounts, and required security settings.
