The IT Infrastructure Head will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of the organization's IT infrastructure. This role requires strategic leadership to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of all IT systems and services.


Responsibilities



  • Develop and execute the IT infrastructure strategy aligned with business goals.

  • Manage and lead the IT infrastructure team, including network, server, storage, and data center operations.

  • Ensure high availability and performance of IT systems and services.

  • Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of network and server infrastructure.

  • Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect organizational data.

  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and services.

  • Plan and manage IT infrastructure budgets and resource allocation.

  • Monitor emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance infrastructure efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Coordinate disaster recovery and business continuity planning.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in IT infrastructure management or related roles.

  • Strong knowledge of network architecture, server management, virtualization, and cloud technologies.

  • Experience with IT security frameworks and compliance standards.

  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, CCNP, or PMP are a plus.
