Principal Consultant / Senior Consultant, Business Consulting
Infosys Consulting is seeking candidates for their Technology Transformation practice. Candidate must be an experienced IT consultant with the requisite domain acumen and delivery proficiency to help clients achieve business success. An ideal candidate would have a balance of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills to navigate complex M&A scenarios effectively. Candidates must be comfortable to take up working at all levels to help the organization define and deliver IT solutions and processes as part of an integrated strategy.
As a Principal Consultant / Senior Consultant , you will work on, among other things:
Providing strategic & technical advice to CIO and IT SMEs on-
Due Diligence:
Assess target companies' IT systems, infrastructure, and capabilities.
Identify risks and opportunities related to IT during the M&A process.
Evaluate compatibility of IT platforms and technologies.
Integration Planning:
Develop IT integration strategies and roadmaps post-merger.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and objectives for IT integration.
Estimate costs and timelines for IT integration projects.
Implementation Support:
Provide oversight during the integration of IT systems and applications.
Ensure data migration and application consolidation are executed smoothly.
Support the implementation of unified IT policies, governance, and security protocols.
Communication and Collaboration:
Liaise with IT teams from both organizations to facilitate knowledge sharing and alignment.
Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Documentation and Reporting:
Create and maintain documentation related to IT assessments, integration plans, and progress.
Monitor key performance indicators to assess integration success.
Project Execution
Collaborate with client counterparts to define long-term vision, goals, and strategies
Contribute to the design and development of client future processes and organizations with corresponding transformation roadmaps
Conduct requirements workshops with a team of global IT professional & subject matter experts, translating those requirements into actionable project initiatives with associated metrics
Solution targeted processes, leveraging best practices
Perform knowledge transfer to the client and support organizations throughout all phases of the project
Providing and receiving regular feedback and ensuring effective communication and high levels of satisfaction between the team and consultants under stressful circumstances
Leading & driving business pitches and present, creative concepts and new and innovative ideas to internal and external clients
Sales / Business Development
Support Infosys Consulting leadership team members in driving proposal development and leading proposal discussions
Develop client relationships to identify and qualify sales opportunities with the assistance of senior leadership
Articulate our unique point of view in various thought leadership media, including papers, webinars, and seminars
People Development
Mentor and coach team members through formal, performance evaluation methods and informal, individual feedback opportunities
Lead the day-to-day execution of projects while guiding and developing individual team members
Practice Development
Create/contribute practice artifacts
Contribute to practice growth through recruitment, training, and retention
Provide insight and thought leadership in developing innovative assets, including differentiated points of view and methodologies
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in any technology related field.
Strong understanding of IT systems, project management, and integration methodologies.
Excellent articulation, communication, and strong interpersonal skills
Exhibit a passion for technology and continually learn and keep pace with the accelerating change across multiple technologies and solutions
5-15 years of consulting/advisory experience in at least 2 of the following areas:
M&A IT Integrations - provide overall integration leadership to clients across the M&A lifecycle including Due Diligence, Integration Planning and Execution, Value and Stranded Cost analysis, setting up and running Integration Management Office
Cloud Strategy & Migration – Cloud Service Provider Selection, Cloud Migration Assessment & Business Case, Cloud COE assessment & design, Cloud Finance Management Design
IT Cost Optimization – technology business management (TBM) data strategy, TBM office governance, TBM managed services, Apptio implementation
IT Strategy & Architecture – driving next gen IT & business architecture, IT capability assessment, new operating model design, value realization and Application Portfolio Optimization
Preferred Qualifications
M. B. A. or equivalent advanced degree from Tier 1/Tier 2 colleges
Big 4 consulting or equivalent experience
Experience with data management, IT strategy, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity is advantageous.
Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
Certifications: TOGAF, ITIL Foundation, COBIT, Apptio TBMA, SAFe, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
Strong problem-solving skills: ability to determine proper course or methodology with minimal direction or supervision.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS Power Point)
