Job Description
A master’s degree is a plus (optional but preferred). Proven experience in IT management or a similar role (usually 3–5 years or more). Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software. Experience in managing IT teams and working with different departments. Good understanding of cybersecurity practices and data protection. Ability to solve technical problems quickly and efficiently. Familiarity with IT project management tools and methods. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Manage the company’s computer systems to make sure they work properly.
Supervise the IT team and help them solve technical problems.
Plan and manage IT projects like software upgrades or network changes.
Ensure data is safe by setting up security systems and backups.
Resolve computer and network issues promptly to prevent work delays.
Maintain servers, routers, and firewalls so the system runs smoothly.
Help staff with IT issues and provide support when needed.
Buy and install new IT equipment like computers, printers, and software.
Train staff on how to use new systems or software.
Create IT policies to guide how technology is used in the company.
Keep software and systems up to date with the latest versions.
Monitor system performance and suggest ways to improve it.
Make sure the company follows IT rules and laws.
Manage IT budgets and control costs on technology spending.
Communicate with other departments to understand their IT needs.
Train new IT staff when needed.
Protect the company’s data from viruses and hackers.
Review and choose software or tools that fit the company’s goals.
Prepare reports for management about IT performance and plans.
Stay updated on new technology trends to keep the company modern.
