IT Network Specialist

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operates/maintains wide-area/local-area networks (LAN/WAN/VPN, etc.) to prevent operational disruptions and provide stable communications environments.

• Drives network design, construction, and upgrades projects to ensure future scalability and flexibility including cloud environments.

• Implements configuration management, access control, and log monitoring for network devices to reduce security risks.

• Deploys / operates monitoring and automation tools to enhance network visibility and efficiency.

• Minimizes the impact of failures and changes by implementing responses based on change management and incident management processes.

• Responds to escalations from the IT service desk and, as Level 2 support, investigate and resolve network-related technical issues.
