IT Process Manager – Shared Service Center – 100%

As an IT Process Manager at Tecan, you will play a key role in maintaining, implementing, and harmonizing global business processes across all Tecan entities, with a focus on Production, Logistics, and Supply Chain.


You will drive the worldwide implementation of standardized processes on SAP and other systems, manage change requests, and support the global SAP service delivery organization.


Your responsibilities will also include documentation, training, and consulting on IT topics within supply chain management.


You may also act as (Sub) IT Project Manager for supply chain-related projects.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and implement global business processes, especially in Production, Logistics, and Supply Chain.

  • Ensure worldwide harmonization of processes on SAP and other systems.

  • Implement new or enhanced system functionalities (Change Requests).

  • Provide support within the global SAP service delivery organization, including ticket resolution.

  • Document and train system functionalities and processes.

  • Consult on IT topics related to supply chain management.

  • Act as (Sub) IT Project Manager, monitoring, coordinating, and supporting projects through all phases.

  • Ensure solutions are documented and knowledge is transferred to team members and stakeholders.

  • Plan and implement processes globally within project scope.

  • Translate business specifications into IT requirements for development teams.

  • Coordinate external SAP consultants and support organizational/system changes.

  • Contribute to process setup, improvement, and standardization in supply chain management.

  • Collaborate closely with local business teams, regional offices, and production entities to align tasks and projects.

  • Initiate and coordinate training and skill development for business and IT teams.

    • We are looking for a collaborative, process-oriented professional with strong SAP and supply chain management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive global projects and change initiatives.

    Your background

  • Familiar with technologies and their opportunities, detailed database and deep IS/IT knowledge is not necessary (no developer)
  • Education in project management
  • Expert Know How, experience and competence about opportunities and practical operation within specific processes
  • Experience in SAP PP / MM / QM / WM process knowledge (in one or more) and customizing SAP IBP (SAP APO) / SAP MDG / SAP GTS /SAP Signavio
  • Proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA, SAP Intercompany Processes, SAP PP/DS (SAP APO), SAP EWM, SAP TM, SAP AVC, Salesforce and Coupa is nice to have for this position.

  • Language Skills : English required, German language proficiency is a plus.
