IT Project Manager

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for overseeing and managing technical IT projects. In this role, under the direction of the ITS Project Management Office, the Project Manager will plan, direct and coordinate activities surrounding department or organizational project(s) and initiative(s) to ensure goals and objectives are met within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Responsibilities include managing all phases of IT projects - feasibility, planning, design, build, test, implement, and close. The Project Manager will be responsible for following the ITS project management lifecycle and governance process, using the enterprise PPM tool for project management and team collaboration, building and leading cross-functional project teams, developing, resourcing and managing project work plans.
