NTT Data Greece team is looking for an IT Security Analyst in Athens to work with our clients in the European public sector.

Your Role:

  • Monitor security systems and tools to detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to identify and mitigate potential threats.
  • Analyze security alerts and logs to identify unusual activity and recommend corrective actions.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Assist in the design and execution of incident response plans, including conducting post-incident analysis.
  • Maintain and improve threat intelligence by staying updated on current and emerging cybersecurity trends.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configuration of systems, applications, and networks.
  • Provide security awareness training and resources to employees to promote a culture of cybersecurity.
  • Conduct regular audits and compliance checks to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation for stakeholders, including management and auditors.

    Your profile: 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science,
  • Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. Proven experience in a cybersecurity or IT security role.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls.
  • Familiarity with security tools such as firewalls, SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), antivirus solutions, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Experience with network security, encryption protocols, and secure coding practices.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to identify security trends and anomalies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for conveying technical information to various audiences.
  • Skills:

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or GIAC.
  • Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Experience in threat hunting and advanced malware analysis.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks.
