We are the software development team in Nomura Group, a leading company in the industry having a strong global presence among Japanese financial institutions. Our mission is to build and support the equity business in cooperation with Business users. Members will be involved in a variety of in-house projects, utilising the latest technology and development practices. The team consists of multinational members, and communication within the team and with stakeholders is conducted in both Japanese and English.

・Design, develop, and maintain robust server-side applications that power securities trading, transaction processing, and client-facing interfaces.

・Partner with business, product, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, reliable solutions.

・L3 technical support where necessary.

・Coordinate with business stakeholders, and related systems, using both Japanese and English.

・エクイティビジネス関連システムの提案・開発・運用を担うチームに開発者として参画していただきます。

・ビジネスユーザーと直接会話をしながら、現場のニーズを直に反映した本当に価値のあるシステムの構築に取り組んでいただきます。

・L3 サポートとしてテクニカルサポート。

・ビジネス部署や関連システムの担当者と調整を行う必要があります。この際、日本語と英語の両方を使用します。

Requirements Requirements：

＜Mandatory Requirement＞

For SAS

・Japanese language proficiency (Business equivalent level)

・Over 7 years of Java application development in Linux/Unix (Financial sector preferred)

・日本語ビジネス相当レベル以上

・7年以上のLinux、Unix環境のJavaアプリケーション開発経験（金融業界であれば尚可）



For AS

・Japanese language proficiency (Minimum JLPT N3 equivalent level)

・Over 5 years of Java application development in Linux/Unix (Financial sector preferred)

・日本語JLPT N3相当レベル以上

・5年以上のLinux、Unix環境のJavaアプリケーション開発経験（金融業界であれば尚可）



For SAS and AS

・English communication skill (Native equivalent level)

・Development skill using Spring boot framework

・Experience with database design and management, preferably in MySQL

・Strong communication skills with business users

・Pro-active mindset

・英語ネイティブ相当レベル

・Spring bootを用いた開発経験

・データベース設計・管理の経験。できればMySQLの利用経験

・ビジネスユーザーとの要件定義の経験

・主体的なマインドセット ＜Preferred skill and experience＞

Agile development

Industry experience in hands-on development within securities business

Development skill using Python

Development or support of AWS applications (EC2, RDB, ALB, etc.)

Experience in system testing, and test automation (Junit, Cucumber, etc.)

Experience in GUI design and UX, preferably in Angular or React

Experience and understanding of messaging middleware (Solace, Aeron etc.)

Understanding of the Securities business, preferably in Equity Trading

*JSDA (Japan Securities Dealers Association) Sales Representative Qualification

Since this position is hiring as a developer under JBS, there is a possibility of rotation within JBS.

This job description is for a developer role, and in all cases requires the candidate to have the ability to do both development and L3 support at the coding level.
