Job Description
IT Leader is accountable for delivery of IT services and implementation of IT strategy on site level. He leads site IT support organization, cooperates with central IT functions on service delivery, ITSM and project implementation. He is responsible for site AOP and Capex budget, IT procurement and cost optimization projects. Acts as cybersecurity focal, oversees IT compliance and acts as single point of contact for any site related IT matters.
Key Job Areas of Responsibilities
IT Service Delivery Provides customer-centric IT services in line with Garrett IT guidelines and direction, communicates and implements IT strategy; maintain relationship with central IT functions in order to integrate global IT initiatives and follow policies.Conducts business analyses, help business define requirements and creating business cases. Act as single point of reference for all IT related topics, maintain a strong relationship with plant leadership team. People Management and Project ManagementEnsures strong coordination of IT CSW workforce, alignment to Garrett performance standards and Code of Business, manages service optimization. Manages effectivity of site IT functions, provides guidance to maintenance IT and PLC functions in terms of IT technology and standards. Ensures leadership of IT projects and ensures that best practices used in IT related projects. Adheres to GEM and HSE practices and policies. Follows the implementation and compliance with internal regulations and rules of health and safety.Organizes department resources, based on organization's needs and legal provisions regarding vacation planning, overtime, unpaid leave etc.Act as an Enabler for Business Priorities, Functional Cost Management, Communication, Events and Organization Changes.Act as an Enabler for Culture and Organization Transformation.Act as an Ambassador for HSE, Quality and People Management subjects. IT Operations and SecurityOwns site IT finance planning and execution, management of best CAPEX and OPEX budget/initiatives, manages suppliers for IT related services at the site.Delivery of SLA metrics related to shopfloor, operations support and office IT services. Manages all IT services with a focus on continuous service improvement, improvement of the user experience and reducing user effort to resolve IT issues.Ensure standards and best practices are implemented related to data privacy, cyber safety and IT compliance.Work with ME team to manage security and upgrade etc.. for PCs linked to production equipment at shopfloor. Manage local IT Applications and Databases (MS-SQL). Education/ Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or above in Information Technology, or related work experience. IT project management and ITSM skills, certification in general standards (PMI, Prince2, ITIL) is a plus. Understanding of Manufacturing / Automotive / SCM is a plus. Experience Required
8+ years work experience in IT leadership, IT project management or IT service delivery 3+ years people management experiences. Key Skills and Knowledge
