**DESCRIPTION:**
Join our IT team at Thermo Fisher Scientific and contribute to technological innovation that enables our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. As a Systems Analyst II, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement, maintain, and optimize critical business systems. You'll leverage your technical expertise and analytical skills to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure smooth operations of enterprise applications.
Work closely with business partners to understand needs, document requirements, and translate them into effective technical solutions. Lead the configuration, testing, and deployment of system enhancements while ensuring compliance with corporate standards. Provide technical guidance to resolve complex issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your work will directly impact our ability to serve customers and advance scientific discovery.
**REQUIREMENTS:**
+ Working in compliance with legislation and IMS to ensure a secure and efficient IT environment.
+ Providing support to local end-users and other locations within the region, both remotely and on-site.
+ Installing, configuring, coordinating, and supporting local PC hardware and applications in a Windows and Mac OS environment.
+ Maintaining end-user support at the 2nd and 3rd level, ensuring system availability within predefined timeframes.
+ Ensuring timely resolution of IT incidents, service requests, and problems reported by end-users.
+ Working together with other IT teams and individuals involved to ensure smooth integration and support of IT systems.
+ Supporting enterprise projects and initiatives to drive innovation and efficiency.
+ Installing software and providing standard desktop application support.
+ Assisting centralized teams by providing hands-on support and conducting thorough investigations to resolve MIM issues.
+ Supervising and tracking work requests to meet SLAs and customer needs.
+ Providing assistance with colleague onboarding and offboarding processes.
+ Participating in audits and business continuity planning activities.
+ Maintaining IT inventory and validating hardware and software licenses.
+ Keeping track of IT-related documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
+ Traveling up to 25% to support other sites when required.
**To excel in this role, you will need:**
+ Experience in system integration or a comparable field (MCSE, MCITP, etc.).
+ Familiarity with Windows 11 and deployment technologies such as Intune and Autopilot.
+ Excellent English language skills (both speaking and writing).
+ IT support experience, preferably in mid to large-sized companies.
**Competencies:**
+ Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and PC/Server hardware.
+ Skills and experience with the Microsoft Office 365 product family, with the ability to showcase Office 365 features and capabilities.
+ The ability to support remote tools, antivirus and backup programs, hardware imaging, and other related tasks.
+ A constant learning attitude to stay updated with the latest IT knowledge.
+ A customer-focused attitude, ensuring the highest level of satisfaction for end-users.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with all individuals involved.
