Job Description

The IT Software Developer (Level 4) will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations and automation workflows between Rally and Jira using Python, Java, and REST APIs. The role requires advanced technical expertise in scripting, automation, and API integration to enhance workflow efficiency and ensure seamless data synchronization across IT systems. The candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to support Rally onboarding, maintain system performance, and deliver automation solutions in an Agile environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Automate and configure workflows and data synchronization jobs between Rally and Jira.
  • Develop scripts to extract and process data across various IT systems (PPM+, ServiceNow) for reporting.
  • Ensure uptime, performance, reliability, and scalability of the Rally product.
  • Troubleshoot and debug integration and synchronization issues.
  • Collaborate with teams to onboard business squads/fleets to Rally.
  • Manage code via version control systems such as Git or Bitbucket.
  • Work with Agile teams to enhance automation and workflow efficiency.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and programmatic interactions.
  • Proficiency in API integration across IT systems using JSON or similar data formats.
  • Experience in Tomcat/Postgres environments.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC; DevOps experience is a plus.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Experience with Rally and Jira APIs for workflow automation and data synchronization.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Atlassian JIRA.
