IT Support Engineer

At TechBiz Global, we are providing recruitment service to our TOP clients from our portfolio. We are currently seeking a Resident Engineer in Istanbul to join one of our clients' teams. Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day onsite IT support for ~20 laptops, 3 desktops, Meraki switching (MS 17.x), MR APs (31.1.6), Fortigate 100F/MX85 edge, and local servers (AD, CCTV, Access system).
Key Responsibilities
• End-user support (Windows/macOS), device provisioning, M365 account & Outlook issues (L1/L2)
• Basic network ops: switch port/VLAN checks, AP health, SSID issues (Meraki)
• AV/VC support (meeting rooms), local printer/CCTV endpoint checks
• AD user/computer tasks (adds/moves/changes), join domain, GPO basics
• First-look firewall observations (Fortigate), raise tickets to the Network Specialist
• Asset tracking and CMDB updates for laptops, desktops, and network gear

•EUC support and M365 collaboration (Teams/OneDrive)
• File server ops: shares/permissions, NTFS/DFS basics, quota checks
• Backup job status checks and restore assistance (coordinate with MSP/KL)
• Meraki L1/L2 operations: port status, VLAN, AP health; raise change requests
• Firewall rule change requests coordination; basic VPN checks
• Site asset inventory and CMDB hygiene

Skills
• Windows 10/11, macOS, M365 (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
• Meraki Dashboard basics (MS/MR)
• Fortigate awareness (policies/NAT/VPN basics)
• CrowdStrike agent health checks
Certifications (Preferred)
• CompTIA A+/Network+
• Microsoft MD-102
• Meraki CMNA (nice to have)

Experience

• 3–5 years onsite EUC; exposure to Meraki/Fortinet.

• Coverage & Shifts

• Shanghai business hours; on-call participation for P1 incidents per global process.
