Job Description
IT Support Specialist Responsibilities:
- Respond to and resolve IT support requests and tickets.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and network services.
- Develop and maintain manuals, and other support documentation.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical problems.
- Document all incidents and service requests in the ticketing system.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams as necessary.
IT Infrastructure Administration and Maintenance Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
- Ensure system security by implementing and maintaining antivirus and anti-malware solutions.
