IT Support Engineer

About the role

VSTECS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team in the Lavender Central Region. This is a full-time position where you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and support of our IT systems and infrastructure.

What you'll be doing

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users, including diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and related equipment
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of IT security measures
• Collaborate with the IT team to identify and address system inefficiencies and implement improvements
• Maintain detailed documentation of all IT-related activities and ensure compliance with company policies
• Provide training and guidance to end-users on the proper use of IT systems and applications

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
• Proficiency in Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems
• Familiarity with common IT tools and technologies, such as Active Directory, Microsoft Office, and cloud-based applications
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
