About the role.

You provide friendly, fast system support for enterprise business applications used across the department and partner agencies. You work across first and second level support, focus on cloud-based applications, and support service delivery, upgrades, and continuous improvement in a large public sector environment.

Key Responsibilities.

  • Provide first and second-level support for enterprise business applications.
  • Resolve incidents and requests with internal teams and vendors against SLAs.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and SOPs.
  • Advise stakeholders on system improvements aligned to business needs.
  • Support system upgrades, testing, maintenance, and change releases.
  • Coordinate incident response and emergency support activities.
  • Participate in on-call and rostering arrangements for after-hours support.
  • Contribute to operational projects and system enhancements.
  • Promote knowledge sharing, teamwork, safety, equity, and positive culture.

Highly desirable criteria.

  • Experience supporting laboratory system applications.
  • Experience supporting MS SharePoint.
  • Experience supporting MS Dynamics 365 and PowerApps.
  • Experience supporting Atlassian applications.
  • Experience participating in on call or rostered support.

Desirable criteria.

  • Exposure to enterprise cloud-based applications.
  • Experience working within structured service management environments.
  • Experience supporting large, complex public sector or similar organisations.

Skills and experience.

  • Ability to manage priorities across multiple systems in a fast paced setting.
  • Strong background in system support and administration.
  • Understanding of business analysis and application design concepts.
  • Ability to learn business processes quickly.
  • Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong adaptability and innovation during change.
