Job Description
LMW, on behalf of a client operating in the financial services and asset management sector, is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support Specialist to provide comprehensive IT support and contribute to the continuous optimization of the organization’s internal systems and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide IT support for PCs, printers/copiers, phone systems, networks, and general IT hardware/software.
- Perform systems maintenance tasks, including patching servers and PCs, and monitoring system resources.
- Collaborate with external vendors to resolve technical issues.
- Support the development and improvement of internal platforms with a focus on security and efficiency.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Preferably 2+ years of experience in a similar IT support role.
- Solid knowledge of Windows-based operating systems
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2022 and Active Directory
- Proficiency in Office 365
- Understanding of information security principles
- Familiarity with backup solutions (considered a plus)
- Basic knowledge of MS-SQL or other database environments (considered a plus)
- Exposure to DLP and SIEM platforms (considered a plus)
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
