IT Support Specialist

LMW, on behalf of a client operating in the financial services and asset management sector, is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support Specialist to provide comprehensive IT support and contribute to the continuous optimization of the organization’s internal systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide IT support for PCs, printers/copiers, phone systems, networks, and general IT hardware/software.
• Perform systems maintenance tasks, including patching servers and PCs, and monitoring system resources.
• Collaborate with external vendors to resolve technical issues.
• Support the development and improvement of internal platforms with a focus on security and efficiency.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

•  Preferably 2+ years of experience in a similar IT support role.
• Solid knowledge of Windows-based operating systems
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2022 and Active Directory
• Proficiency in Office 365
• Understanding of information security principles
• Familiarity with backup solutions (considered a plus)
• Basic knowledge of MS-SQL or other database environments (considered a plus)
• Exposure to DLP and SIEM platforms (considered a plus)
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
