IT System Administrator

Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware systems.

Manage network servers, technology tools, and related infrastructure.

Set up user accounts, workstations, and access permissions.

Monitor system performance and ensure maintenance meets organizational requirements.

Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve outages efficiently.

Maintain system security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.

Implement system upgrades, new releases, and hardware models.

Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies.

Create and maintain an internal knowledge base with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.

Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or in a similar role.

Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management.

Strong knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery procedures.

Ability to create scripts using Python, Perl, or other scripting languages.

Familiarity with multiple operating systems and platforms.

Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
