The role
As we enter our next phase of growth and profitability, we are looking for a System Administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and networks. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users. Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
Deploy, configure, and maintain software and hardware across corporate and retail locationsManage network servers, cloud systems, and technology tools to ensure stability and securityOversee setup and lifecycle of user accounts, workstations, and access controlsSupport and manage the POS (Point-of-Sale) system, including configuration, maintenance, and version upgradesCollaborate with the Retail Operations team to identify pain points and enhancement opportunities in store systemsCoordinate with POS vendors for troubleshooting, maintenance, and improvement projectsLead and manage POS-related IT projects, including system rollouts, integrations, and testingMonitor performance, troubleshoot system issues, and respond promptly to outages or incidentsEnsure security through device policies, firewalls, and backup strategiesMaintain accurate records of IT and retail assets via asset management toolsDevelop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and IT policiesContinuously explore automation opportunities and process improvements to optimize IT operationsWhat we are looking for

You should have/be
Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar roleStrong knowledge of IT asset management, MDM, Active Directory, and network securityHands-on experience with POS systems (preferably retail environments) and vendor coordinationUnderstanding of ERP software and system integrationsStrong grasp of system security (, intrusion detection, endpoint protection, backup/recovery)Familiarity with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, or similar)Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skillsResourcefulness, ownership, and problem-solving aptitudeInterest in staying current with emerging technologiesBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline; professional certifications (, Google Workspace Admin, Microsoft 365, or CompTIA Security+) are a plusExperience managing retail store IT infrastructure (POS, network, peripherals) is a strong advantageUnderstanding of inventory or asset management tools is a plusBenefits
