IT Support Technician – Level 2 Location: Adelaide CBD (may be required to support nearby metro areas)
Contract: 3-6 months
Pay: $40 p/h + Super
We’re seeking an experienced Level 2 IT Support Technician to join a large, enterprise-scale environment based in the Adelaide CBD. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in high-volume support settings, is confident working both onsite and via remote ticketing systems, and is technically strong across Windows and macOS.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 onsite desktop support across end-user devices, hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Resolve and escalate incidents within agreed SLAs.
- Support Windows, macOS, M365, email clients, and standard business applications.
- Deliver remote support via enterprise-level ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Assist with connectivity, printing, and basic AV troubleshooting across meeting rooms and teaching spaces.
- Coordinate with Level 1 and Level 3 teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Maintain professional presentation—role branded as part of the University IT Support team.
About You
- Strong background in Level 2 IT Support, both onsite and remote.
- Experience working in large organisations or high-user-volume environments (corporate or government preferred).
- Confident supporting Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Skilled in Microsoft 365, standard productivity tools, and common desktop applications.
- Familiar with ITIL processes and comfortable working within structured ticketing workflows.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and troubleshooting capability.
Role Details
- Based primarily at the Adelaide CBD office.
- May occasionally be required to work at nearby metro locations
- Full-time role, Monday–Friday, 7.5-hour day within standard business hours (8:00am–6:00pm).
- Onsite work is required for this role.

Casual Loading
Please note for all Australian based contract and temporary roles only, the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading. This excludes permanent and fixed term roles.
