Senior QA Test Engineer (Automation)

SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES: Quality Analyst required to work as an automation test engineer to deliver high quality product, by speeding up end to end test cycles.
 
Senior software developer in test with main objectives:

  • Script C# tests for web services and messaging test flows of end to end in nature. 
  • Run automated tests and analyze test failures
  • Bug tracking and closure
  • Maintain scripts as per the latest development

    • REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
    Experience:

  • Mandatory experience in automation testing and strong coding skills in C#, Selenium.
  • Good experience in working with Visual Studio, TFS understanding of integration with test management tool Performing the review of the Test Scripts from other team members.
  • Should have good knowledge of Defect Management process and be able to perform Root Cause Analysis of Defects arising out Automation Runs.
  • Automation Testing Experience in large enterprise applications with variety of front ends (web and desktop) and backend (Database, Web services, messaging interfaces, etc.).


    • Technology skills:
    Mandatory- 

  • Strong understanding of object-oriented language, coding skills in C#, Selenium.
  • Experience in testing web services like SOAP, Rest.Hand-on experience in Services testing tools like Fiddler, POSTMAN.
  • Hands-on experience in Automating GUI & API test cases.Strong understanding of SQA methodologies.
  • Should have working knowledge of SOA testing principles.
  • Experience with database queries.
  • Good Interpersonal skills working in agile scrum team should be able to adopt to changes & perform Manual testing whenever needed.

    • PREFERED CANDIDATES:

  • Experience in test automation in large system integration projects.
  • Experience in wide variety of automation tools and techniques (GUI Automation Frameworks, Code based automation, Tool based automation, etc.)
  • Experience in working in fast paced agile environments.

    • Qualifications

    Preferred BE/MCA or any other equivalent degree.

    Experience between 5 to 8 years.
