Position Summary
The DWS Tooling Test Team Lead is responsible for managing and guiding a team of software testers to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT solutions. This role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and reporting of testing activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement within the testing process.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of test engineers and analysts.Plan, coordinate, and oversee testing activities for multiple projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on project requirements and technical specifications.Collaborate closely with development, business analysis, and project management teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.Monitor and report on test progress, defects, and quality metrics to stakeholders.Ensure the effective use of test automation frameworks and tools where appropriate.Drive process improvements and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.Manage resource allocation, workload distribution, and team performance appraisals.Ensure compliance with organisational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.Preferred Skills
Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or similar.Experience in performance and security testing.Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Background in cloud-based or mobile application testing.You will be successful in this role if you have:
