A Home Infusion pharmacy in the Houston area is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to provide coverage for a three-week leave of absence. This contract opportunity requires expertise in sterile compounding and IV admixture, with responsibilities focused on ensuring safe and accurate preparation and dispensing of intravenous medication therapies. Location: Cypress, TX Duration: 3 weeks (Monday, 2/16 Friday, 3/6) Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM 5:30 PM Responsibilities: Accurately prepare and compound IV and sterile medications following established protocols Verify and dispense prescriptions in compliance with regulatory standards Maintain thorough documentation and ensure quality control within sterile compounding areas Utilize CareTend software for medication management (training provided if needed) Collaborate with healthcare providers and patients to support optimal infusion therapy Qualifications: Valid Texas Pharmacist License in good standing IV Certification required Recent and solid experience in sterile compounding and IV admixture Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety This role offers the opportunity to apply your specialized pharmacy skills in a focused, professional setting with a Monday through Friday schedule.
