An infusion pharmacy in Houston, TX is seeking a skilled IV Certified Pharmacy Technician with expertise in sterile compounding and cleanroom proficiency. This full-time, contract opportunity offers the potential to transition into a permanent role after 13 weeks. Key Responsibilities: Prepare sterile compounds accurately and efficiently following USP 797 guidelines. Maintain and clean the cleanroom environment, including daily and monthly deep cleaning tasks. Monitor and log temperature, pressure, and humidity data consistently. Restock sterile compound supplies and fluids within the cleanroom. Conduct monthly sampling tests under pharmacist supervision. Assist with data entry, phone support, and packing deliveries as needed. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and home health care agencies to support patient care. Qualifications and Desired Experience: TX Pharmacy Technician License and IV Certification required. PTCB National Certification preferred. Minimum 2 years of strong IV admixture and sterile compounding experience. Experience preparing inotropic medications, antibiotics, and TPNs (no chemotherapy compounds handled). Demonstrated leadership ability within cleanroom settings. In-depth knowledge of USP 797 and cleanroom guidelines for sterile compounding. Schedule: Monday through Friday, Day Shift. On-call rotation every 5th to 6th Saturday.
