Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough infertility evaluations for both male and female patients, including medical history review, hormonal profiling, and diagnostic testing.
  • Perform and interpret transvaginal ultrasound (TVS) for follicular monitoring throughout the ovarian stimulation cycle.
  • Design and manage individualized ovarian stimulation protocols tailored to patient profiles, including those with PCOS, endometriosis, or poor ovarian reserve.
  • Perform oocyte pickup (OPU) procedures under ultrasound guidance with precision and adherence to sterile protocols.
  • Execute IVF, ICSI, and IUI procedures in coordination with embryology and laboratory teams.
  • Perform embryo transfer with accurate timing and technique, ensuring optimal implantation potential.
  • Monitor and manage patients throughout the treatment cycle, providing timely interventions and adjustments.
  • Evaluate and manage cases of recurrent IVF failure, implementing evidence-based strategies for improved outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including procedural notes, monitoring logs, and treatment summaries.
  • Collaborate with gynecologists, endocrinologists, embryologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated fertility care.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in reproductive medicine and contribute to clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology (DGO/MD/DM in Obstetrics & Gynecology).
  • Specialized training or certification in Reproductive Medicine, IVF, or a relevant fellowship (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience in performing and managing IVF, ICSI, and IUI procedures.
  • Proficiency in transvaginal ultrasound (TVS) for follicular monitoring and procedural guidance.
  • Demonstrated experience in ovarian stimulation protocols and cycle management.
  • Competency in oocyte pickup (OPU) and embryo transfer techniques.
  • Strong understanding of infertility etiology, including male factor, tubal, ovulatory, and unexplained infertility.
  • Experience in managing complex conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, and poor responders.
  • Familiarity with protocols for handling recurrent IVF failure and implementing corrective strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-first approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call duties and continuous professional development.
