Job Title : Lead Engineer – Java Backend Developer (7–10 Years)
About the Role
Stellantis is hiring a Lead Engineer (Java) to build and enhance enterprise‑scale, cloud‑native applications supporting our global digital and connected vehicle ecosystem. The role requires strong hands‑on expertise in Java, microservices, and cloud technologies, along with the ability to mentor engineers and drive technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.
- Lead technical execution, code quality, and best engineering practices.
- Build scalable REST APIs and integrate with cloud-native systems.
- Work with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Skills
- 7–10 years of experience in Java backend development.
- Strong in Java 11+/17, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD (Jenkins/Git Hub Actions).
- Good understanding of databases (SQL/No SQL) and messaging systems (Kafka/Rabbit MQ).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to automotive/connected vehicle platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and event-driven architectures.
- Understanding of monitoring/observability tools like ELK, Grafana.
