Java Backend Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong experience in Java and Spring Boot to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and RESTful services. The ideal candidate should have hands-on exposure across the full software development life cycle and be comfortable working in modern cloud-native environments.systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and RESTful web services using Java 8 / Java 17 and Spring Boot 3.0 X
• Build scalable and secure APIs using REST, Hibernate, and JPA
• Participate in end-to-end project life cycle activities, including development, enhancement, and maintenance
• Write unit tests using JUnit, perform code reviews, and ensure high code quality
• Work closely with frontend teams, DevOps, and product stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions
• Implement OOP principles and design patterns to build maintainable and reusable code
• Optimize database queries and ensure efficient interaction with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Troubleshoot production issues and support application stability and performance
• Follow Agile/Scrum development practices

• Languages: Java 8, Java 17, Spring Boot 3.0 X, rest API, Hibernate, JPA
• Database: MySQL, MongoDB
• Operating System: Windows 7, Linux

• CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GITHub actions
• Containerization Tools: Docker
• Cloud Technologies: AWS
• Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, spring actuators
• Experience in web application & RESTful web service development.
• Experience in web application, OOPs, Design Patterns, and Git Version control.
• Experience with SQL & RDBMS
• Good to have knowledge of Application server/container configuration management and application deployment (whether it is Tomcat, JBoss, etc).
