Java Backend Developer

Job Description We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong experience in Java and Spring Boot to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and RESTful services. The ideal candidate should have hands-on exposure across the full software development life cycle and be comfortable working in modern cloud-native environments. systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and RESTful web services using Java 8 / Java 17 and Spring Boot 3.0 X
Build scalable and secure APIs using REST, Hibernate, and JPA
Participate in end-to-end project life cycle activities, including development, enhancement, and maintenance
Write unit tests using JUnit, perform code reviews, and ensure high code quality
Work closely with frontend teams, DevOps, and product stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions
Implement OOP principles and design patterns to build maintainable and reusable code
Optimize database queries and ensure efficient interaction with SQL and NoSQL databases
Troubleshoot production issues and support application stability and performance
Follow Agile/Scrum development practices

Languages: Java 8, Java 17, Spring Boot 3.0 X, rest API, Hibernate, JPA
Database: MySQL, MongoDB
Operating System: Windows 7, Linux
Version Control: GitHub
CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GITHub actions
Containerization Tools: Docker
Cloud Technologies: AWS
Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, spring actuators
Experience in web application & RESTful web service development.
Experience in web application, OOPs, Design Patterns, and Git Version control.
Experience with SQL & RDBMS
Good to have knowledge of Application server/container configuration management and application deployment (whether it is Tomcat, JBoss, etc).
