Role focused on modernizing and evolving a large-scale SaaS platform serving ~150k customers. The position is heavily backend-oriented (Java monoliths transitioning from Java 8 → 17), with active migrations from DynamoDB to Postgres and AngularJS to React/TypeScript on the frontend. Engineers share responsibility for infrastructure in an AWS environment, working with Docker, Terraform concepts, and CI/CD pipelines without a dedicated DevOps team. This is a highly autonomous senior role for engineers comfortable navigating legacy systems, proposing architectural improvements, owning testing and delivery end-to-end, and thriving in a fast-moving startup culture with evolving technical foundations.
