Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Java Lead who can manage complex projects end-to-end and provide strong technical andpeopleleadership. The ideal candidate is not only a hands-on developer but also a strategic thinker capable of designing, developing, and delivering scalable enterprise solutions within the banking and financial domain. This role requires deep technicalexpertise, strong project management skills, and a passion for adopting modern frameworks and cloud-native architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage Projects:Drive complete software delivery lifecycle — from requirement analysis, architecture design, and development to deployment and post-release optimization.
  • Technical Leadership:Guide andmentora team of Java developers, ensuring adherence to best coding practices and architectural principles.
  • Architecture & Design:Design and implement high-performance, secure, and scalable applicationsleveragingSpring Boot,Microservices, and cloud-native patterns.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams — frontend, DevOps, QA, product, and business analysts — to ensure high-quality delivery aligned with business goals.
  • Quality & Performance:Conduct regular code reviews, ensure unit and integration testing, and proactively address performance bottlenecks.
  • Agile Delivery:Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, stand-ups), ensuring sprint goals and project milestones are achieved on time.
  • Innovation:Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies likeReactive Programming,GraphQL, event-driven architectures, and serverless frameworks.
  • Banking Expertise:Apply domain knowledge to design reliable, secure, and compliant solutions for core banking, payments, and financial transaction systems.

  • Java Stack:Java 8/11/17/21, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, RESTful APIs, Microservices.
  • Cloud & DevOps:AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab), Maven/Gradle, SonarQube.
  • Data & Messaging:RDBMS (PostgreSQL/MySQL), NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra), Messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ).
  • Strong understanding of security standards (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, PCI-DSS).
  • Excellent communication, team management, and stakeholder coordination skills.

  • Experience withReactive Programming (SpringWebFlux)andGraphQL.
  • Exposure toServerless architectures(AWS Lambda / Azure Functions).
  • Familiarity withObservability tools(Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
  • Knowledge of event-drivenarchitecturesand domain-driven design.
  • Banking domain certifications or prior experience in financial services.
  • Hands-on withperformance tuningandhigh-availability systems.
