What Does success mean in this role?

  • Administer and maintain Jira Software Cloud and Confluence Cloud configurations.
  • Strong experience with Java (8+) and Spring Boot
  • Hands‑on experience building Microservices and REST APIs
  • Solid understanding of AWS cloud services and cloud‑native design principles
  • Experience with Kafka or similar messaging/event‑streaming platforms
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps concepts and security best practices
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Understanding of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry, etc.)

Daily Activities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot
  • Build and expose RESTful APIs with a strong focus on performance, security, and reliability
  • Develop cloud‑native applications on AWS (EKS, EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.)
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define system architecture and integration patterns
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and promote DevSecOps best practices
  • Ensure application observability using logging, monitoring, and tracing tools
  • Automate testing, deployments, and operational tasks
  • Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to improve code quality and productivity
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
