**Responsibilities**
**The Tech Lead provides technical leadership and guidance to the development team ensuring highquality software delivery and adherence to best practices for a new commercial online banking product This role is pivotal in supporting the rollout of a new digital banking cash management product collaborating closely with Product Managers Business Analysts and crossfunctional teams to deliver secure scalable and compliant solutions for commercial banking clients A typical day involves ensuring the solution design is being correctly implemented identifying potential gaps or longterm issues and addressing immediately mentoring engineers driving technical triage sessions and decision recommendations and ensuring successful product launches and postlaunch stability**
**Key Responsibilities**
**Lead the design development and implementation of the new cash management product including reporting entitlements onboarding and secure messaging**
**Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members**
**Collaborate with Product Managers and Business Analysts to define technical requirements**
**Ensure adherence to coding standards security guidelines and best practices**
**Develop code conduct code reviews and enforce quality assurance processes ensuring readiness for launch and postlaunch support**
**Drive architectural decisions and ensure scalability performance and maintainability**
**Coordinate with crossfunctional teams Product QA Security Operations Vendors to resolve technical challenges and support product rollout activities**
**Manage technical risks including those related to regulatory compliance data privacy and operational stability propose mitigation strategies**
**Handle tech questions issues troubleshoot technical defects work with Solution Architect to document any technical changes or address any issues with initial design etc**
**Support gotomarket activities for new product launches including technical documentation client enablement and postlaunch monitoring**
**Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate**
**Required Qualifications**
**Experience 7 years in software development with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role with experience in commercial banking online banking or financial services platforms**
**Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java Spring Boot Angular**
**Handson experience with cloud platforms AWS**
**Excellent understanding of software architecture design patterns and system integration for digital banking products**
**Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams**
**Strong problemsolving and communication skills with the ability to engage commercial banking stakeholders and support product rollout**
**Additional NicetoHave Qualifications**
**Experience with microservices architecture and containerization Docker Kubernetes**
**Knowledge of DevOps practices and CICD pipelines**
**Exposure to Agile methodologies and frameworks**
**Background in performance tuning security best practices and regulatory compliance for digital banking**
**Experience in managing distributed teams and vendor partners for commercial banking product delivery**
**Certification Requirements**
**Certifications in cloud technologies AWS Certified Solutions Architect**
**Agile or Scrum certifications are a plus**
**Educational Requirements**
**Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field**
**Masters degree is a plus but not mandatory**
