Java Tech PM - Java & AI

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Technology Leadership & Governance: Lead technical governance, project oversight, and execution strategy for enterprise-scale programs involving Java-based and AI-driven systems. Establish PMO frameworks, delivery standards, best practices, and technology roadmaps. Oversee architecture reviews and drive risk mitigation activities.
• Project & Program Management: Deliver end-to-end digital transformation programs for US Insurance clients. Manage multi-vendor coordination, cross-functional teams, budgeting, forecasting, and capacity planning.
• AI & Modernization Initiatives: Lead AI implementations leveraging LLMs, ML models, NLP, and automation. Integrate AI solutions into existing Java-based legacy systems and work with data science teams to shape AI use cases.
• Technical Expertise: Guide teams across Java 8+, Spring Boot, Microservices, API design, and cloud-native architectures. Contribute to decisions involving distributed systems, hybrid cloud environments, and ensure quality, scalability, and security compliance.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with US Insurance clients, internal leadership, and technology partners. Provide structured updates, ensure alignment with enterprise objectives, and support successful customer relationships.

Job Requirements:

• 20+ years of total IT experience.
• 15+ years in Java technologies.
• 2+ years in AI/ML, including LLMs and NLP.
• 8–10 years of PMO or program management experience.
• Strong domain knowledge in US Insurance.

Technical Skills:

• Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs.
• AI/ML, LLMs, NLP, Cloud AI services.
• Cloud modernization, architecture, DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP, SAFe, Prince2, Agile certifications.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Background in large consulting organizations.
