Java Web Developer (Remote – India)
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Java Web Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java-based technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and performance-driven solutions while working remotely within India.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based web applications
Build and consume RESTful APIs and backend services
Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and QA teams
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
Ensure applications meet security, scalability, and reliability standards
Support application deployment and ongoing maintenance
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in Java web application development
Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP protocols
Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with microservices architecture
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build tools (Maven, Gradle)
Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Understanding of web security best practices
Soft Skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication skills for remote collaboration
Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
