Job Title:  Associate Technical Architect – Java/AWS Developer

About the Role

Tavant Technologies is seeking a talented Associate Technical Architect  with strong expertise in Java, AWS, Microservices, and Spring Boot . The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing scalable and reliable software solutions that meet dynamic business needs. This role requires strong technical acumen, leadership skills, and a passion for driving innovation in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance  applications using Java  and AWS  services.

  • Lead architecture discussions  and contribute to solution design for enterprise-grade systems.

  • Collaborate with product management, QA, and DevOps  teams to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality software.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship  to junior developers, promoting clean coding practices and performance optimization.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

  • Ensure implementation of system security, data protection, and compliance  measures.

  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and propose improvements to architecture and processes.

  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation , architecture diagrams, and design artifacts.

Required Skills & Expertise

  • Strong proficiency in Java , Spring Boot , and Microservices architecture .

  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services  – EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, etc.

  • Sound understanding of RESTful APIs  and distributed system design.

  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases  (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices , CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments .

  • Exposure to containerization (Docker)  and orchestration (Kubernetes)  tools.

  • Proficiency in version control systems (Git) .

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication  skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree  in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Prior experience in technical leadership  or architectural design  roles.

  • AWS or Java certifications  will be an added advantage.
