Jewellery CAD Faculty Job In Bangalore

IIG South is seeking a dynamic and skilled CAD Faculty for Jewellery Design to train students in industry-oriented CAD software and practical jewellery design applications. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, teaching ability, and hands-on industry exposure.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and practical training in Jewellery CAD software such as: Rhino / MatrixGold / ZBrush
• Teach Jewellery design , modelling, rendering, and file preparation for manufacturing.
• Guide students on design concepts, proportions, stone setting layouts, and production feasibility .
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and practical exercises as per curriculum.
• Evaluate student performance through tests, projects, and design submissions.
• Stay updated with latest CAD trends and jewellery manufacturing techniques .
• Maintain lab discipline and ensure proper use of CAD infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Jewellery Design, CAD Design, or related field .
• Minimum 1 year of teaching or industry experience in jewellery CAD.
• Strong knowledge of jewellery manufacturing processes is an added advantage.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in Jewellery CAD software.
• Good communication and presentation skills .
• Ability to handle students and explain concepts clearly.
• Creative mindset with practical problem-solving ability.
• Basic knowledge of gemstone settings and metal properties preferred.
