Jewellery Designer conceptualizes, designs, and creates wearable art—such as rings, necklaces, and earrings—by blending artistic vision with technical expertise in metals, gemstones, and CAD software. They are responsible for producing sketches, 3D models, and prototypes, ensuring designs are functional, stylish, and meet production standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Conceptualization: Create innovative designs using hand sketches or CAD software (e.g., Rhino, Matrix) for bespoke or mass-produced items.
Technical Development: Produce detailed technical drawings and 3D models for manufacturing.
Production Oversight: Collaborate with bench jewellers or oversee casting, setting, polishing, and plating to ensure quality.
